Wine production: 2002 503ha produced 22,959hl (14,725 of white wines including Vin Jaune, 7,662hl or red and rosé, and 572hl of Vin de Paille (Guide Hachette des Vins 2004, p.683). Wink Lorch (2014, p.61) says that in an average year Jura produces less than 0.2% of French wine or 10-12 million bottles, of which just over one quarter is sparkling, a similar amount is red or pink wine, 38% is white wine, less than 4% is Vin Jaune, 1% is Vin de Paille, and 6% is MacVin.
