Copertino DOC is a red or pink wine based on the Negroamaro grape grown in the commune of Copertino and five others in Lecce province in south-east Italy in the  Puglia region on Italy’s heel.

Terroir: on the flat plains in the heart of the Salento peninsula  The DOC dates from 1977.
