Coldstream Hills winery is located in the Yarra Valley region of Victoria, Australia. It was founded by James Halliday, a senior corporate lawyer, who planted Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The Pinot was vinified in small batch open-top wood fermenters.The estate was taken over by Southcorp in 1988.
