Clos la Bohème is an organic estate in Macau-en-Médoc in the Haut-Médoc AOC on the Bordeaux region’s left bank, on the banks of the Garonne river.
Owner: Christine Nadalié since 1995. See her other Bordeaux estate Château Beau-Rivage for more details. The Nadalié family is best known as coopers (barrel makers).
Organic certification: Full organic certification from the 2003 vintage.
Vineyards: 8ha of vines: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec. Of this Christine was given 3.8ha from her grandmother located between Château La Lagune and Château Cantemerle in in the commune of Ludon-Médoc (.60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc).
