Clos du Clocher is located in Pomerol on Bordeaux’s right bank. Red wines are made under the Pomerol AOC. The estate was founded in 1924 by Bordeaux negoçiant Jean-Baptiste Audy. Now run by his grandson Pierre Bourotte and the latter’s son, Jean-Baptiste.
Owner: Pierre Burotte who runs the estate for Audy worked with Michel Rolland right from the start.
Vineyards: 1996 5.9ha. 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc. One parcel below Château Trotanoy and one on the edge of the Certan plateau near Château Certan de May and Château Certan Giraud. Gravel soil.
