Château Léoville-Barton is an estate in Saint Julien de Beychevelle on the left bank of the Bordeaux region. It makes red wine under the Saint-Julien AOC. Léoville-Barton is the smallest and most southerly of the three Léoville estates in St-Julien (Château Léoville-Barton and Château Léoville-las-Cases being the others).
Owner: The Barton family since 1826 after the vast Léoville estate was divided. This was Hugh Barton’s share. They also own Château Langoa-Barton, also in Saint-Julien.
Classification: 1855 Second growth.
Winery: The wine is made at the 18th-century Château Langoa-Barton.
