Cesanese Comune is a red wine grape variety native to Italy. It is a member of the Cesanese group of grape varieties. See also Cesanese d’Afile and Cesanese di Castelfranco. Cesanese Comune, as its name hints, is the more common variety, is reputed to be easier to work with in the vineyard. It is planted all over Lazio.
