Caviro is an Italian co-operative group. It was established in 1966. It consists of 32 co-operatives in 7 of Italy’s administrative regions. There are 13,000 wine-grower members producing 7 million quintals (a quintal is 100 kg) or 11% of Italy’s grape production. Turnover in 2016 was 304 million euros. 25% share of the alcohol market in Italy.
