Castelnuovo Bormida is a comune in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region of Piemonte (Piedmont), located about 50 miles (80 kms) southeast of Turin and about 12 miles (20 km) south of Alessandria. Castelnuovo Bormida borders the following municipalities: Cassine, Rivalta Bormida, and Sezzadio.
