Castagnara is a red grape variety native to Italy.

Where grown: In Campania it is found mainly in the northern part of the Sorrento coast, especially on the slopes of the Lattari mountains. It is allowed in the blend of Penisola Sorrentina Rosso DOC wine.

Viticulture: Medium sized bunches, with small berries.
