Cantine Polidori is an organic estate winery in Umbertide in the Province of Perugia in the north-west of the Umbria region of central Italy. It makes wines under the Colli Altoberini DOC and Umbria IGT denominations. The estate was created by Carlo Polidori and his wife Romana, and their oenologist daughter Lauretta. Carlo’s father was in construction but in the 1930s began commercial production on a part-time basis. The estate expanded in the1960s. Carlo’s father grew vines up maple trees as the Romans did 2,000 years ago.

Estate Vineyards: 2010 25ha. Sangiovese, Merlot, Barbera, Trebbiano, Malvasia del Chianti, Verdicchio, Chardonnay.
Terroir: 380-460m on the Colle del Sole (sun hill) from where are visible the Tuscan districts of Cortona and Arezzo, the Umbrian districts of Perugia, Assisi and Gubbio, and the Trasimeno lake district.
Polyculture: The estate also producers a number of arable crops.
Winery: Based around a grey stone 15th-century farmhouse or manor in a grove of olive trees.

Other activities, products: Grappa Colle del Sole, Grappa Riserva Colle del Sole. Agritourism. There is a swimming pool and tennis court, with facilities for croquet, boccia, archery or fishing and games for children, as well as seminar and conference rooms. Umbrian restaurant (with Umbrian and Tuscan food).
