Bruscia is a family-owned organic estate in Pesaro-Urbino Province in the Le Marche region on the Adriatic coast of Italy. Bruscia produces white wines under the Marche Bianco IGT and the Bianchello del Metauro DOC. Colli Pesaresi DOC red wines are also made.
Background: Osvaldo Bruscia planted the first vineyard of the Bruscia family in 2007 in Spicello – a small village of about 33 inhabitants, near San Giorgio di Pesaro (PU) and not far from San Costanzo. He was the first son of Vittorio Bruscia and Adele Filippetti. They had four children: Osvaldo, Tullio, Dina and Dino. Tullio and Dino founded the winery. Dino Bruscia is head of the Company and works together with his sons Davide and Paolo and his nephews Stefano and Modestino (Tullio Bruscia’s two sons).
Vineyards: Marche. 25ha of which 17ha owned and 8ha rented (2013).
Organic certification: 2004 C1. 2007 AB for the first time.
