Briziarelli is an estate in the Montefalco DOC region of Umbria, Italy. Red wines are made under the Montefalco Rosso and Rosso Riserva DOCs, as well as the Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG.
Background: In 1906 Pio Briziarelli founded what is now the estate. He cultivated vineyards and processed the grapes in the original Cantina di Marsciano. He also bred and selected Chianina cattle in San Gemini. Olive groves and arable land were also added over time.
