Barberino Tavarnelle is a commune in the Province of Firenze (Florence) in Tuscany. It was created on 01st January 2019 whereby the communes of Barberino Val d’Elsa and Tavarnelle in Val di Pesa merged following a public vote.

Geography: Neighbouring communes are San Casciano in Val di Pesa to the north, Greve in Chianti to the east, Castellina in Chianti to the south-east, Poggibonsi to the south, San Gimignano to the south-west, Certaldo to the west, and Montespertoli to the north-west.
