Azienda Agricola Fornacelle di Giusti Marco is an organic estate in Località Benedetto in the northern part of the San Gimignano region of Tuscany in Italy. In 2019 owner Marco Giusti was making his own wines whilst selling the majority of his grapes to the co-operative. Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG and DOCG Riserva whites are made. Red wines are made under the Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG.

Estate vineyards: In Loc. San Benedetto. 250m. | 2012 4.5ha of Vernaccia (clay, high ground), 3ha of Chianti Colli Senesi, 1ha of Toscana Bianco and 1ha of Toscana Rosso. | 2019 | 11ha on a single piece of land of which 8ha of vines and 3ha of olive trees and field-sown crops. Merlot on low-lying, stony soil.
Terroir: Hill top ridge, south-facing. 180-200 metres. Very mixed soils: clay, tuffeau, sand and calcareous fragments.
Viticulture: Cover crops: Oats (Avena sativa), barley or ‘orzo’ (Hordeum vulgare) and broad beans (Vicia faba) or ‘favino’ for nitrogen. | Rootstocks: 110 Paulsen (clay soils). SO4 (sandy soils).
Organic certification: 2017 First vintage with full organic certification.
White wines
Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG: 2010 Phenolic (Anteprima 2013). | 2011 Oxidised and/or cork, chalky (Anteprima 2013). | 2017 Simple, round (Anteprima 2018). | 2018 Simple, round (Anteprima 2019). | 2019 13% alc. 100% stainless steel. No MLF. Nice width (Anteprima 2020). Broad, creamy, bright, lightly old school, precise and refreshing ()March 2021).
Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG Riserva, Fiora: Barrel fermented. 6m in oak. Simple (Anteprima 2019). | 2017 800 bottles. Fermented in 2nd fill tonneaux. Completed malolactic fermentation. | 2018 800 bottles. Fermented in 2nd fill tonneaux. Well-handled oak. No malolactic fermentation.
