Auslese is the third quality category in the Pradikat system in Germany, between Spätlese and Beerenauslese. The name means ‘selected harvest’. The grapes may be affected by botrytis  and the wines will have a minimum must weight of 83–105° Oechsle. The wines will be rich, sweet and honeyed but some Trocken styles exist.
