Arquata | Sub-area in the commune of Bevagna, close to and south-east of centre of the town itself, in the Montefalco region of Umbria. Arquata is ‘the greatest Montefalco terroir’ as far as Dr Ian D’Agata (2019, p268) is concerned, producing powerful, long, complex, nuanced wines, he says. See also the Belvedere zone, south-east of and generally lower lying than Arquata.
Wineries: Adanti. | Fattoria Colleallodole di Milziade Antano.
