Bevagna | Commune on the western edge of the Foligno plain in Perugia province in Umbria in central Italy. The centre of town is walled. Bevagna falls within the coterminous Montefalco DOC and DOCG zones (see below), and is the northernmost commune in the Montefalco region.

Wine style | Ian d’Agata (2019, p268) says the Sagrantino wines from Bevagna are ‘more floral, gentler’ compared to those from Montefalco itself, and show ‘a very good core of acidity and minerality not found infall Sagrantinos.’
