Amelio Livio is an estate in Grana in Asti province in the Piemonte region of Italy. Amelio succeeded his father Carlo Livio. Livio sold in bulk before he started bottling in 1998. His daughters Daniela (b.1992) and Arianna (b.1993) took over officially in 2017. Wines are made under the following denominations: Barbera d’Asti Superiore DOCG, Freisa d’Asti DOC, Grignolino d’Asti Superiore DOC, Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato DOCG.

Vineyards: 2017 6ha of vines, 21ha of field crops. No herbicides. I.P.M.

Bottled in April. 6,000 bottles. Italy. 7-8 euros export price. Nice jelly fruit, quite sapid in Castagnole Monferrato 13 July 2017.
