COLLI DI FAENZA DOC covers still red and white wines from Emilia-Romagna in north-east Italy. The delimited zone covers the townships of Brisighella, Casola Valsenio, and Riolo Terme, and part of Faenza and Castelbolognese townships, all of which are in the province of Ravenna; plus the entire administrative territory of Modigliana and part of Tredozio, in the province of Forlì. A deed from 1672 mentions the Sangiovese grape being grown in Faenza (see Sangiovese).
