Villa Pomona is an organic estate in Castellina in Chianti in the south western part of the Chianti Classico DOCG in Tuscany. The estate dates from 1899. 

Owner: Soc. Agr. Eredi Enzo Raspi. Monica Raspi (+39 348.8223737) and her husband Enrico Selvi. Her great-great grandfather was Bandino Bandini.

Staff: Oenologist: Filippo Paoletti.

Vineyards: 2015 5ha (200 hl). Sangiovese mainly, plus a little Colorino and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Certification: 2012 First vintage with full organic certification.

Winemaking: Reds ferment in stainless steel tanks (Millésime Bio 2016). Ageing in Slavonian oak vats.

Chianti Classico DOCG, Pomona: 2013 100% Sangiovese. 8m in Slavonian oak. Nice, classic Chianti Classico (Millésime Bio 2016). |  2016 100% Sangiovese. Rich nose, some wildness; youthful palate with bright fruit and well-handled tannins (Anteprima 2018). | 2019 98% Sangiovese, 2% Colorino del Valdarno. 25,000 bottles

Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva: 2013 Bottled. | 2015 100% Sangiovese. Bit of burn and greenness (Anteprima 2018). | 2018 100% Sangiovese. 3,500 bottles

Toscana Rosso IGT, Pomona: 2015 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. | 2019 100% Cabernet Sauvignon 1,200 bottles.
