2018: In 2018 the Demeter Association, Inc in the United States reported that nationally there were 1,417 hectares (3,500 acres) of Demeter certified Biodynamic vines in the United States, mainly in California and Oregon, making about 183,000 cases of wine each year.

2015: Pam Strayer (2016) calculated there were roughly 6,072 hectares (15,000 acres) of certified organic or Biodynamic vines in the USA including 4,615ha (11,400 acres) from CCOF (see California), 202+ha (500+ acres) from Organic Certifiers (Ridge and Tablas Creek and a few others) and 202ha (500 acres) from other certifiers. Demeter’s Stellar Certification Services accounts for another 1,336 ha (3,300) acres.
