Umani Ronchi | Merchant with estate vineyards in the Le Marche region on Italy’s Adriatic coast. Wines are made under the following denominations: Cònero DOCG and Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC; Terre di Chieti IGT.

Red wines
Conerò DOCG, Campo San Giorgio | The Campo San Giorgio vineyard is located in the commune of Osimo (Ancona Province). It faces south‐east, at a height of about 150 metres above sea level. The terrain, dating back to marine formations from the Pliocene‐Pleistocene era, consists of deep and particularly calcareous soils. Only 10.000 square metres, containing 8,000 vines per ha, distance is 2.1 meters between the rows, 60 cm along the row. Bush‐trained vines, low yields. | 2009 Debut. 100% Montepulciano. 12m in barrels (new, 2nd & 3rd fill). 3,500 bottles in this vintage. | 2011 Dry tannins, sweet fruit, some dust (in Le Marche 01st Sept 2017).
