The  2013 vintage in Tuscany is likened to the chameleon, meaning there was quite a wide variation in quality. This is mainly due to a stop-start early season and irregular vine growth. However good weather in the later part of the season gave time to conscientious estates to pick only the best fruit from what was a smallish if not tiny crop.
