Terra di Seta is an organic estate in Vagliagli, a locality in Castelnuovo Berardenga commune in the Chianti Classico DOCG region of Tuscany, Italy.

Owners: The Della Seta-Pellegrini family: Maria Pellegrini and Daniele della Seta. They bought the estate in 2000 and went organic immediately.

Staff: Agronomist: Ruggero Mazzilli. Oenologist: Enrico Paternoster.

Vineyards: 15 hectares of land of which 7.5 hectares are vines. 450-480 metres.

Organic certification: 2003 First vintage with full organic certification.

Polyculture: Olive trees, honey.

Kosher wines: All the wines are certified kosher from the 2008 vintage onwards.

Chianti Classico DOCG, Terra di Seta: 2015 95% Sangiovese, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Well made. No need for the Cabernet, Sangiovese good enough on its (Anteprima 2018). | 2020 95% Sangiovese, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. 20,000 bottles.

Chianti Classico DOCG, Vigna del Pozzo: A 100% Sangiovese single vineyard wine. 

Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva, Terra di Seta: 2013 13.5%. 100% Sangiovese. Barrel aged (225- and 500-litres). Well made, savoury (Anteprima 2018). Nice primary red fruit, good old style Chianti Classico with appealing sour cherry crunch (Chianti Classico Boot Camp 2018). | 2015 100% Sangiovese. | 2019 100% Sangiovese. 6,500 bottles.

Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva, Guardo Giro: 2016 100% Sangiovese.

Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione, Assai: A cru. 2 hectares. Varied soil of galestro, macigno. | 2013 100% Sangiovese. Bit warm but plenty of fruit (Anteprima 2018). | 2016 100% Sangiovese. 4,500 bottles.

Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione, Ermo Colle: 2016 100% Sangiovese.
