Susie Barrie is a wine writer and author, and a member of the Institute of Masters of Wine. She is based in Winchester in the south of England and is married to fellow Master of Wine, Peter Richards MW (Susie beat her husband to the award). Susie and Peter were the third married couple to be joint MWs – the others being David Peppercorn and Serena Sutcliffe, and Philippa and Peter Carr.
