Saint-Pourçain-sur-Sioule AOC is an appellation for white, red and rosé wines. The AOC takes its name from the town of Saint-Pourçain-sur-Sioule. The wine is made from the Tressalier grape–(called Sacy in Chablis–which is described by Roger Voss as ‘a secret weapon as it gives in his words ‘a delicious fresh herbal quality found nowhere else in France.’

Terroir: The Saint-Pourçain vineyards lie along the banks of the Sioule, a tributary of the Allier, north-west of the spa town of Vichy.
