South Coast AVA or American Viticultural Area is a blanket AVA dating from 1985. It covers grape-growing regions in five counties of Southern California: Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego. It includes Ramona Valley AVA and San Pasqual Valley AVA in San Diego County, and Temecula AVA in Riverside County.
