Sato Wines is a wine producer in the Otago region on the south island of New Zealand. It was founded in 2009 by Yoshiaki and Kyoto Sato, who previously worked in banking. Yoshiaki gained work experience at Domaine Bizot in Vosne-Romanée, Burgundy and at Domaine Pierre Frick in Alsace.

Riesling: 2014 Certified organic grapes from Northburn Station vineyard. No skin contact. 14m in stainless steel. 50ppm sulfites. Nice and citric (Real Wine Fair 2017).
Red wines
Pinot Noir: 2013 Certified organic grapes from Pisa Terrace Vineyard. 18m in barrels. Unfined, unfiltered. <10ppm sulfites. | 2014 Certified organic grapes from Pisa Terrace Vineyard. Fermented in plastic tanks. Aged 17m in old oak. V nice fruit (Real Wine Fair 2017).
