SAN CARLOS, the most southerly of the three departments in the Uco Valley of Mendoza in Argentina, the other two being the neighbouring Tunuyán and then Tupungato which is the furthest to the north. San Carlos has three sub-regions called La Consulta, El Cepillo, and Altamira.
