SAM HARROP MW is from New Zealand. He has worked as an in-house winemaking consultant eg. for UK retailer Marks & Spencer for 7 years in the early 2000s, but now consults independently. He is a partner in Domaine Matassa, Roussillon. He makes wine on Waiheke Island, New Zealand under the Sam Harrop Cedalion brand from his aunt and uncle’s vineyard there. He is a co-author with Dr Jamie Goode of ‘Authentic Wine’ (University of California Press, 2013).
