Saint Médard d’Eyrans is one of ten communes on the left bank of the Bordeaux region within the Pessac-Léognan AOC and thus within the wider Graves AOC as well.

Terroir: St-Médard, on the southern fringe of “Hautes-Graves” has deep, pebbly soil, which should mean good wine (Hugh Johnson: Wine Companion: 1991, p.76).
