Saint Germain du Puch is a commune in Entre-Deux-Mers on the right bank of the Bordeaux region, 12 miles (19km) east of the city of Bordeaux, and 5 miles (8km) SW of Libourne.

Terroir: Saint-Germain-du-Puch occupies a limestone plateau covered by a layer of clay-limestone no more than 30cm (12 inches) deep in places, allowing quick drainage.
