Querce Bettina is an estate winery in Località La Casina di Mocali on the south-west hillside in Montalcino in Tuscany, Italy. Its main wines are Rosso di Montalcino DOC and Brunello di Montalcino DOCG.
Owners: Roberto Moretti and Vilma Barenghi.
The name: The estate takes its name from a 19th-century century legend about an old lady that used to sit in the shadow of an oak to tell tales of magic and mystery.
Research: The owners cooperate with the national association “Wine and health” that carries out studies on the beneficial properties of red wine.
Vineyards: The farm has 2.5ha of vines. Facing west to the Tyrrhenian Sea. Sangiovese up to 440 metres.

Rosso di Montalcino DOC, Querce Bettina: 2017 1,700 bottles.
Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, Querce Bettina: 2014 Bright red fruit, sour cherry and new oak, more of a Rosso di Montalcino in terms of definition and palate weight than Brunello but decent enough for this vintage (Anteprima 2019). | 2015 4,850 bottles.
