QUARTICELLO is a winery in the township (‘comune’) of Montecchio Emilia in the Emilia region of Emilia-Romagna in Italy. The family of Roberto Maestri purchased this estate. In 2006 Roberto (+39 335.8224870) qualified as a ‘vinicoltore’ and took over. 

Vineyards | 2012 8ha estate of 5ha is under vine. Sandy clay soils in Montecchio Emilia. Main grapes Lambrusco Maestri, Lambrusco Salamino, Lambrusco Grasparossa, Malbo Gentile, Malvasia di Candia. 

Organic certification | 2008 Organic practices adopted.| 2013 First vintage with full organic certification.


IGT Emilia Bianco, Despina | 2012 100% Malvasia di Candia. Vino frizzante. 36mg/l sulfites. Nice peachy freshness at RAW 2012.


IGT Emilia Lambrusco | 50% Lambrusco Maestri, 30% Lambrusco Grasparossa, 20% Malbo Gentile. 2,000-3,500 bottles. Some egg, needs air at RAW 2012.

IGT Emilia Lambrusco, Rivellino | 40% Lambrusco Maestri, 40% Lambrusco Salamino, 20% Malbo Gentile. Pet nat (no disgorgement).
