Preston Farm & Winery is an estate winery in the Dry Creek Valley AVA in Sonoma County in the North Coast of California. It was founded in 1975 by Louis “Lou” Preston. The estate is Demeter-certified Biodynamic.
Certification 2005 First vintage with full organic certification (CCOF) for 50.6 hectares (125 acres) of wine grapes, olives, fruit trees, vegetable gardenèès. | 2015 First vintage with full Demeter Biodynamic certification for both vineyards and winery.
Vineyards: 28.3 hectares (70 acres) producing around 8,000 cases.
Winery: In a converted barn.

Vin Gris Rosé: 2017 Cinsault, Mourvedre. Biodynamic wine. 242 cases.
Red wines
L Preston Red: 2015 Syrah, Grenache Noir, Mourvedre, Cinsault, Carignane. 826 cases. Lovely fluidity (IBWC 2018).
VZN1 Zinfandel: 2015 471 cases. Crunchy fruit and new oak, good (IBWC 2018).
