Porter-Bass Vineyards & Winery is a Demeter-certified Biodynamic estate vineyard and winery in Guerneville, in the Russian River Valley AVA of Sonoma County, in the North Coast of California. The vineyard, one of the most beautiful in this part of California, was founded by Sue and Dirck Bass. Their son Luke now runs it. He created the Poco a Poco range of less expensive Chardonnay, Pinot noir and Zinfandel wine.
Vineyards: 2018 hectares (18 acres) of Zinfandel and Chardonnay in the Russia River Valley.
Biodynamic certification: 2000 First vintage as Demeter-certified Biodynamic.
Grape sales: Grapes have been sold to Littorai Wines (for the Mays Canyon Pinot Noir), Marty Bannister of Bannister Wines, and also to Flowers Vineyard in the Cazadero/Fort Ross area plus Wild Hog Vineyard.
