Podere Casanova is and estate in the southern sector of the Montepulciano region of Tuscany. It makes red wines under the Rosso di Montepulciano DOC and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG.

Vineyards: 15ha of vineyards of which 2ha are vines. Climatic influences from three lakes: Trasimeno, Chiusi, Montepulciano.

Red wines

Settecento: 2016 14% alc. Light crunchy red (2019 Anteprima).

Rosso di Montepulciano DOC: 2018 60% Sangiovese, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. 14.5% alc. 15,000 bottles.

Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG: 2014 14% alc. Fluid stumpy red fruit (2019 Anteprima). | 2017 15% alc. 98% Sangiovese. 9,000 bottles. A bit fudge-like (2020 Anteprima).

Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, Riserva: 2015 100% Sangiovese. 15% alc. 100% fermented in stainless steel. 24m in French oak. Sticky fruit with dry tannins (2020 Anteprima).
