Pitigliano is a town located about 50 miles (80 km) south-east of the city of Grosseto in Grosseto Province in coastal south-west Tuscany. It gives its name to the Bianco di Pitigliano DOC. The town is known as Little Jerusalem for the historical presence of a Jewish community. Its main square has a large palace built by the Orsini.
