Petite Arvine or Arvine is a white grape variety from the Valais region of Switzerland.
Typical flavours: ‘peach, apricot, and a with age (good aging potential) a spicy honey character (Oz Clarke: 2015, p.200). ‘One of the few Swiss whites capable of aging well,’ (Dave Broom: 1997).
Wine styles: Dry, medium, or sweet.
Wines: Valle d’Aosta DOC Petite Arvine (Valle d’Aosta, Italy).
