Azienda Agricola Montegrande di Cristofanon Luigi & Figli S.S. is and winery located in the commune of Rovolon (PD) in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of Italy. It makes sweet white wines under the Colli Euganei Fior d’Arancio DOCG.
Owner: Raffaele Cristofanon. He started working here as a child and took over in the early 2000s from his father Luigi.
Vineyards: The Moscato Giallo is grown on volcanic soils in the Colli Euganei or Euganean Hills.

Colli Euganei DOC Bianco Frizzante, Serprino: It is assumed that the Prosecco grape, of karstic origin with the name of Pucino, was the preferred wine of Empress Livia (Roman Emperor Augustus’s wife). The grape was brought to the Colli Euganei where it was named Serprino (also known as Glera).

Colli Euganei Rosso, Cru Sereo: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. 2008 Smoky oak, ripe, mid-weight (Decanter Volcanic Wines Seminar 2013).

Colli Euganei Fior d’Arancio DOCG Passito: Made from Moscato Giallo. 1999 Debut vintage. | 2009 Moscato Giallo (Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains). Planted 1998 in the commune of Rovolon. Guyot (2.6 x 0.8 vines/ha). Picked in September. Best grapes. Dried on mats (sui grattici). Pressed (pigiatura).12m in barrels. New wood makes this a bit phenolic, but very soft (Decanter Volcanic Wines Seminar 2013). | 2011 12% alc. 8,000 bottles. | 2013 100% Moscato Giallo. The grapes are dried for at least 4 months in boxes. Aged 24 months in tonneaux. 200g/l residual sugar. 12% alc.
