Montecchio is a commune in Terni province in the Italian region of Umbria, located about 31 miles (50km) south of the city of Perugia and about 18.6 miles (30km) northwest of the provincial capital city of Terni. Montecchio borders the following municipalities: Avigliano Umbro, Baschi, Civitella d’Agliano, Guardea, Orvieto, Todi.
