Mas des Bressades is an organic estate in Manduel in the Costières de Nîmes AOC, France.

Owner: Cyril Marès. Cyril Marès is 6th generation of winegrowers. His father Roger Marès established the domain in 1964. Roger Marès had also together with his father planted vines in Haut Medoc. The vineyards here are today managed by a cousin of Cyrils.
Cyril has studied “Viticulture and Oenology” in Montpellier. After having finished his education in 1994 he worked at Chalone Vinyard in the US and in Bordeaux at Chateau Cos d’Estournelle and Chateau Margaux. Afther that he did his miltary service and was finally ready to take over at Mas des Bressades in 1996. Cyril is married to Nathalie Blanc-Marès who in 2013 took over her parent’s property, the Mas Carlos / Chateau Paul Blanc. In 2018 Cyril and Nathalie divorced and (in 2019) Cyril is officially responsable at both domaines.

White wines

Costières de Nimes AOC Blanc Tradition: 2012: 50% Roussanne, 30% Grenache Blanc, 10% Marsanne and 10% Viognier.

Costières de Nimes AOC Blanc Exellence: 2012: 70% Roussanne, 10% Grenache Blanc and 20% Viognier. Fermented and then aged for 5 months in barriques.

Pink wines

Costières de Nimes AOC Rosé Tradition
2014: 50% Grenache, 30% Syrah and 20% Cinsault. Saignée.

Red wines

Costières de Nîmes AOC Tradition: 2012: 55% Syrah and 45% Grenache.

Costières de Nîmes AOC Exellence: 2010: 100% Syrah. Aged in 1-3-years-old barriques for 12 months.

Costières de Nimes AOC Quintessence:2011: 90% Grenache, 5% Syrah and 5% Mourvedre. 15 hl/ha. Aged in old barrels.

IGP Gard Les vignes de mon père: 2011: 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Syrah. 
Aged for 12 months in new barriques.

Late Harvest wines

Vin de France Les Vignes Obliées: 2013: 100% Viognier. Vendange tardive.
