Listrac-Médoc AOC is a red wine appellation (1957) covering the commune of Listrac-Médoc on the Bordeaux region’s left bank. It is the most westerly–and thus most distant from from the Gironde estuary–of the Haut-Médoc district’s six communally-named AOCs, namely Margaux AOC, Saint-Julien AOC, Pauillac AOC, Saint-Estèphe AOC and Moulis-en-Médoc AOC, its immediate neighbour to the south-east.
