Les Vignes de Babass is an estate winery in Beaulieu sur Layon in the Anjou region in the Loire Valley, France.
Founder-owner: Sébastien Dervieux (aka ‘Babass’, a former musician) was involved at Les Griottes in nearby Saint-Lambert-du-Lattay from the early 2000s. In 2010 went their separate ways to take advantage of tax incentives for estates with limited land holdings and financial turnover. The wines are bottled as Vin de France (the white wines could qualify for the Coteau du Layon AOC).
Vineyards: 2.8ha in a single block which Sébastien first encountered in his Les Griottes days and which belonged to the Hacquet family in Beaulieu-sur-Layon. Plots of Chenin Blanc, Grolleau, and Cabernet.
Winery: In a rented farm building, 10km from the vineyard. Ground level only.

La Navine: 2015 A dry Chenin Blanc.
Joseph Anne Francoise: A dry Chenin Blanc from vineyards that belong to the Hacquet siblings, Joseph, Anne and Francoise. Bottled as Vin de France.
Red wines
Roc Cab: Cabernet Franc.
