Katherine Cole is a freelance journalist and author and has been communicating about wine since 2000. She is the wine columnist for The Oregonian and an occasional contributor to the Wine Spectator, Wine-Searcher, Grape Collective and other publications and sites.
She has published a number of books: Complete Wine Selector: How to Choose the Right Wine Every Time; Voodoo Vintners: Oregon’s Astonishing Biodynamic Winemakers; and Oregon Wine, the app for iPhone, iPad and Android. She was a moderator at the 2014 World of Pinot Noir, Santa Barbara, CA (28th February -1st March). Her particular interests are Q & A interviews, breaking news, sustainability issues, wine recommendations.
Katherine was a Louis Roederer Awards 2012 finalist – International Wine Book of the Year
