Il Palaggio di Panzano is an organic estate winery in Panzano-in-Chianti, a locality (‘frazione’) of Greve-in-Chianti, a commune in Tuscany’s Chianti Classico DOCG region. 

Owner: Monia Piccini [3rd generation] and her husband Franco, a former furtniture restorer, took over the family estate, and converted it to organics.

Vineyards: 2017 8 hectares (19.8 acres) of vines of which 7 hectares (17.3 acres) of Sangiovese and 1 hectare (2.47 acres) of Merlot. 400-450 metres (1,312-1,476 feet).

Organic certification: 2000 First vintage with full organic certification.
