Il Bosco di Grazia is an estate winery at Bolsignano, an area south-west of Montalcino town in the Montalcino region of Tuscany. It was created in 2010 when the Rubegni family’s Bolsignano estate, which had been planted from 2000 with 8.8ha of vines was divided. What is now Bolsignano is owned by Roberto Rubegni whilst with their share his sisters Elisabetta and Giulia Rubegni created the Il Bosco di Grazia.

Owner: Family-owned and managed by sisters Elisabetta and Giulia Rubegni along with their mother, Maria Grazia.

Staff: Consultant Oen: Antonio Mori.

Vineyards: 5.5ha. Sangiovese. 4,400 vines/ha. Cordon. On the Montalcino rather than Grosseto side of Passo del Lume Spento, 500 metres further on, turn left and follow the signs. Altitude of 300 metres. South-south west facing. Soils with high sand content, well drained, with calcareous deposits.

Winemaking: Hand picked. Fermented in stainless steel. The sisters say they are looking to get more fruit and less oak into the wine than when they were working with their brother Roberto.
