François Bouchet (1932-2005) was a key figure in the development of late 20th- and early 21st-century Biodynamic wine-growing, working as a consultant, both in his native France as well as further afield. Both his children own Biodynamic vineyards in France. His son Mathieu Bouchet took on the family’s Domaine du Château Gaillard in Saumur in the Loire Valley. His daughter Véronique Cochran purchased Château Falfas in the Côtes de Bourg region of Bordeaux with her late husband in the late 1980s.
