Felicity Carter is a wine journalist whose Australian parents were in Germany when she was born (her father was serving on a British army base). She worked in the performing arts, and as an advertising creative (campaigns for MasterCard, Qantas) before gaining her first job in journalism, freelancing for the Melbourne Age newspaper. She is currently (Nov 2017) editor-in-chief of Meininger’s Wine Business International. This is published in Germany in both German and English. Carter says her “central pre-occupation as an Editor is how you get and keep the attention of an audience, whether by speaking or in writing.” In her spare time she plays the cello.
